Competency exams are offered in French, German, and Spanish. The competency exam will be at 1:15 pm in Hitchcock 108.
The competency exam will determine if you are fluent in the language in order to test out of the requirement. If you plan to continue studying a language you should NOT register to take the competency exam, but instead take the online placement test (https://www.creighton.edu/ccas/modernlanguages/programs/placementexaminfo/).
If you are unsure if you should sign up to take the competency exam, you can discuss it with an advisor during Summer Preview and the competency exam will be available on a walk-in basis until 3 pm on Day 1 of Summer Preview.
